Is Byora a Tally replacement?
Byora is built for distributor workflows Tally makes clumsy: batch and expiry, free schemes, delivery challans and payroll sitting next to GST billing. Every bill posts to the ledger so P&L and trial balance stay honest.
Does it handle intra-state and inter-state GST?
Yes. Place of supply versus your GSTIN state code decides CGST+SGST or IGST. Credit notes reverse the same split.
What is demo vs app vs studio?
Demo is the public walkthrough of Orvia Merchants LLP — fictional, watermarked, free. App is your live books after a plan or trial. Studio is AptSoft engineering. The AptSoft desk is a fourth surface for ops.
Can I pay with UPI? Will it auto-renew?
Yes. Pay on Plans with UPI, card, netbanking or wallet (Razorpay). We add GST like a tax invoice: same state as AptSoft (Chandigarh) is CGST + SGST; other states are IGST. Total GST is 18%. The AptSoft GST invoice is issued when payment clears, emailed to you, and kept on Account. AptSoft GSTIN 04CQEPS1114B1ZJ. Plan payments are not refundable. Cancel auto-renewal anytime; access continues until the paid end date.
Is my data safe?
Passwords are hashed. Sessions regenerate on login. The data folder is denied by .htaccess. Signed-in houses are scoped per account.
